Using the Control Panel to Set Accessibility Options |Accessing the User Profiles Tab to Enable You to Use Your Settings on a Computer Others Also Use

You can change the settings so that when you log on to the Windows operating system with your password, Windows will automatically switch to your personal settings.

On the Start menu:

n         Point to Settings.

n         Click Control Panel.

Display the Start menu by pressing CTRL+ESC (or the Windows logo key).

n         Move to Settings by pressing S. 

n         Select Control Panel by pressing C.

In Control Panel:

n         Double-click the Passwords icon.

If the focus is not on Control Panel, press TAB until it is.

n         Move to the Passwords icon by pressing the arrow keys.

n         Press ENTER.

In the Passwords Properties dialog box:

n         Click the User Profiles tab.

In the Passwords Properties dialog box:

n         If the focus is not on the Change Passwords tab, press TAB until it is.

n         Press the RIGHT ARROW key until the User Profiles tab is highlighted.

In the User Profiles tab:

n         Click Users can customize their preferences and desktop settings.

In the User Profiles tab:

n         Select Users can customize their preferences and desktop settings by pressing C.

Click OK.

Press ENTER.
