Using the Control Panel to Set Accessibility Options |Accessing the Motion Tab

The Motion tab enables you to:

§         Speed up or slow down mouse pointer speed.

§         Show and adjust the length of pointer trails.

Before you begin  

The procedure for accessing the Motion tab from the Control Panel is outlined below. The procedures for using this tab's options follow this procedure, and assume you have already opened Control Panel and accessed this tab.

On the Start menu:

n         Point to Settings.

n         Click Control Panel.

Display the Start menu by pressing CTRL+ESC, or the Windows logo key.

n         Move to Settings by pressing S. 

n         Select Control Panel by pressing C.

In Control Panel:

n         Double-click the Mouse icon.

If the focus is not on Control Panel, press TAB.

n         Move to the Mouse icon by using the arrow keys.

n         Press ENTER.

In the Mouse Properties dialog box:

n         Click the Motion tab.

In the Mouse Properties dialog box:

n         Move to the Buttons tab by pressing SHIFT+TAB.

n         Move to the Motion tab by pressing the RIGHT ARROW key.
