Using Keyboard Shortcuts | Show or Hide Shortcut Keys in ScreenTips

 

If you want to be reminded of shortcut keys while working in Office XP, you can choose the option to Show shortcut keys in ScreenTips. If you choose this setting, shortcut keys will be shown in ScreenTips of all Office XP programs.

On the menu bar:

n         Select Tools.

n         Select Customize.

On the menu bar:

n         Open the Tools menu by pressing ALT+T.

n         Select Customize by pressing C.

In the Customize dialog box:

n         Select the Options tab.

In the Customize dialog box:

n         Select the Options tab by pressing ALT+O.

On the Options tab, under Other:

n         Select or clear the Show ScreenTips on toolbars and Show shortcut keys in ScreenTips check boxes.

n         Select Close.

On the Options tab, under Other:

n         Select or clear the Show ScreenTips on Toolbars check box by pressing ALT+T.

n         Select or clear the Show shortcut keys in ScreenTips check box by pressing ALT+H.

n         Press ESC.
