Choosing Color and Sound Options | Change the Background Color of Your Calendar

 

You can change the background color of your Calendar according to your preferences. Some contrast choices make Calendar items easier to view for people with vision impairments.

In the main Outlook window:

n         Select Calendar.

In the main Outlook window:

n         Move to the Folder list by pressing F6.

n         Move to Calendar by pressing the UP ARROW or DOWN ARROW key.

n         Press ENTER.

On the menu bar :

n         Select Tools.

n         Select Options.

On the menu bar:

n         Open the Tools menu by pressing ALT+T.

n         Select Options by pressing O.

In the Options dialog box, under Calendar:

n         Select Calendar Options.

In the Options dialog box, under Calendar:

n         Select Calendar Options by pressing ALT+C.

In the Calendar Options dialog box under Calendar Options:

n         Select the Background Color button.

In the Calendar Options dialog box, under Calendar Options:

n         Select the Background Color button by pressing ALT+B.

In the Background Color list:

n         Select the color you want.

n         Select OK.

 

Note   The color you choose is applied to weekday hours. A darker version of the background color is applied to night and weekend hours.
